In my portfolio, I've included a selection of posters I designed for various concepts, like movies and exhibitions. In bringing these ideas to life, I utilized Adobe software such as Photoshop and Illustrator.

Fish and Cat movie poster

"Fish and Cat" is a 2013 Iranian mystery drama slasher film directed by Shahram Mokri. It follows a group of university students on a camping trip by a lakeside for a kite-running competition. What sets this film apart is its presentation: it unfolds in a non-linear, unbroken shot lasting 135 minutes.

After viewing the movie, I was reminded of the paintings by M.C. Escher. His artworks delve into mathematical concepts, featuring impossible objects and exploring ideas of infinity, reflection, symmetry, and perspective. Inspired by this, I decided to incorporate one of Escher's paintings into my own work.

Poster Exhibition

Hosein Mahjoubi is an Iranian painter renowned for his depictions of horses, which hold significant prominence in his works. Drawing inspiration from this, I aimed to infuse a distinct character into the horse, making it the focal point of the poster's design.

Jackson Pollock

Designing an event poster for Jackson Pollock was one of my most cherished projects. Pollock, a prominent figure in the abstract expressionist movement, gained widespread recognition for his innovative "drip technique." This involved pouring or splashing liquid household paint onto a horizontal surface, allowing him to work on his canvases from various perspectives. I found the act of dripping those vibrant colors with his hand to be particularly intriguing. Inspired by this, I made a large hand the central figure in my poster design.

Book Exhibition

For another student project, I had the opportunity to design a poster for a book exhibition in Tehran. I adorned it with illustrations of branches, leaves, pomegranates, and birds intertwined with the Persian alphabet and Nastaliq Calligraphy. The backdrop featured a book, serving both as a literal representation and a metaphor for the sky.
